After School Clubs at Waingroves Primary School
Each half term, and in partnership with AVSSP, we hold after school sports clubs.
These are run by Miss Naylor from AVSSP on the school premises, and run from 3:15pm - 4:15pm.
This year (2026-27), we are running the following clubs:
Autumn Term:
Y1 & Y2 Fundamental Football
Y5 & Y6 Football Club
Y3 & Y4 Handball/Netball Club
Y5 & Y6 Handball/Netball Club
Spring Term:
Y1 & Y2 Hockey Club
Y3 & Y4 Hockey Club
Y3 & Y4 Tag Rugby Club
Y5 & Y6 Tag Rugby Club
Summer Term:
Y1 & Y2 Dance Club
Y3 & Y4 Dance Club
Y1 & Y2 Striking & Fielding Club
Y3 & Y4 Striking & Fielding Club
Parents are made aware of upcoming clubs via ParentHub and are asked to book via ParentPay when the booking is open. All clubs are on a first come, first served basis.
Please note, for all outdoor sports club’s children MUST be wearing trainers and appropriate joggers/leggings for the playground. Children will already be in their PE kit from PE lessons/swimming lessons during the day and no further equipment should be brought into school. However please make sure you have weather appropriate clothing for the club including a coat.
